Having a box delivered to your door with organically grown vegetables from the nearest farm is a lovely way of shopping. The number of farmers who provide this service increases constantly and in order to provide a list that is not out-dated at once we have chosen to simply link our directory to the Soil Association's. There you will have to look for the nearest producer and check if he has a box delivery service.

Paradise Farm is run by Richard Hudson & Catherine Bell. The farm is managed with wildlife conservation as a top priority. As well as supplying a wide variety of organically grown fruit and vegetables the farm has recently started to keep livestock to produce organically farmed beef, lamb & pork.
Vegeboxes are delivered to all parts of the
York area for free.

Goosemoor is the longest established organic
food producer. The farm produces a wide variety of vegetables, salads and herbs.
The company also produces a huge catalogue of local and organic food products
called the Grocery Big List. Part of the farm is managed as a nature reserve.
